On the one hand, collages : paper figures from the history of art, cut out and assembled. On the other, fragments of concrete found in a wasteland.

L’image, en retour, enrichit ces décombres en leur offrant une histoire fantasmée.  

       

The graphic composition is transferred to the concrete surface.  The constrained form of the debris sculpts the image, creating voids that the imagination can fill in.

In return, the image enhances the rubble, giving it a fantasized history.
